The storage time for tea can vary depending on the type and how it is stored. Generally, tea can be stored for:
- Green Tea: Up to 6 months to 1 year.
- Black Tea: Up to 2 years.
- Oolong Tea: Up to 1 years.
- White Tea: Up to 1 years, often longer.
- Pu-erh Tea: Up to 2 years, sometimes improving with age.
- Herbal Tea: Up to 1 to 2 years.
To ensure the best flavor, it is recommended to consume the tea as soon as possible after opening. To maximize the storage time and maintain the quality of your tea, store it in a sealed container away from direct sunlight, moisture, and strong odors, preferably in a cool, dry place. Proper storage is essential for preserving the flavor and freshness of your tea.
